D1225R – a cost-effective axial fan without compromising on quality or reliability
New D1225R series saves space thanks to low installation depth
A good example of a space-saving axial fan is the D1225R series from Dynetics, which is available in
versions for 12 V or 24 V DC voltage.
This axial fan with ball bearings is characterised by an optimised impeller design and a 3-phase BLDC motor with integrated rubber damping and a new driver IC.
This gives the D1225R outstanding features, including a 5 dB lower noise level and an air performance at an installation depth of 25 mm, which is currently only found in fans with an installation depth of 32 mm. The 7 mm saving allows the designer to reduce the drag of the entire unit, increasing the flow rate and improving cooling efficiency.
This newly developed high-efficiency motor in combination with a new customised driver IC resulted in energy savings of around 30 percent in a demo application.
