The GXE600 series can be operated as a 24 V or 48 V fixed output supply, or programmed to be provide a
constant
voltage, constant current (CVCC) source. The voltage adjustment range is from 20 to 120 per cent and the current
from 20 to 100 per cent. Protection and recovery parameters can be set, as can the rise time slew rate. Via the
digital communications interface the power supplies can also indicate the estimated remaining electrolytic
capacitor life-time, operating run-time and alarm history to enable remote preventative maintenance indication
or fault finding.
The power supplies operate from a wide-range input of 85 to 265 Vac with an earth leakage current of below 300
µA and dual input fuses as standard. They can be used in ambient temperatures of -20 °C to +70 °C (-40 °C start
up), derating linearly above 50 °C to 50 per cent load at 70 °C.

170 Vac input. The fully featured series also has an isolated 5 V 1 A standby voltage, remote on/off, DC
Good
and AC Fail isolated signals, with paralleling capability for up to five units. The case dimensions are a
compact 127 x 41 x 254 mm (W x H x L). The warranty period is seven years.
The units are safety certified to
IEC/EN/ES/CSA 60601-1, IEC/EN/US/CSA 62368-1, IEC/EN/US/CSA 60950-1,
EN
62477-1 (OVC III), with CE marking for the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS2 Directives. Input to output isolation is
4,000 Vac (2 x MoPP), input to ground 2,000 Vac (1 x MoPP) and 1,500 Vac output to ground (1 x MoPP) for
suitability with B and BF rated equipment.
The units also comply with EN 55011-B, EN 55032‑B, FCC Class B,
VCCI-B conducted and radiated emissions, meet the EN 61000-3-2 harmonics and EN 60601-1-2 (Edition 4) immunity
standards.
