Thanks to its global presence, Habia has customers in 60 countries and operates facilities in Sweden,
Germany, Poland, and China. The company was formed in 2023 through the merger of Habia Cable and HEW-KABEL.

Challenging
industrial applications
In the industrial sector, special Habia cables guarantee reliable performance at temperatures ranging from
-196 °C to +1,525 °C, for example in electric vehicles, steel mills, gas turbines, and diesel engines. They
withstand vibration, chemicals, and mechanical stress. Thanks to its exceptional vertical range of
manufacture – from PTFE taping and PTFE extrusion to assembly – Habia covers almost all production steps
in-house. At group level, production runs of as little as 200 meters are possible, as are large series for
international customers.
Solutions for Robotics
and Automation Systems
In the field of robotics, the company, in collaboration with Robotic Solutions GmbH – a member of the Habia
Group – offers robust and durable cable solutions for all common types of robots.
These include cables for
articulated-arm robots, cobots, painting and welding robots, and connection solutions for complex automation
systems.
The cables are resistant to chemical, thermal and mechanical stresses such as torsion, bending, stretching
and abrasion, and guarantee maximum mobility and a long service life even in continuous operation. The
portfolio includes data, control, servo and hybrid cables that combine energy, control signals and data
transmission in compact systems. The robotics portfolio is complemented by fully assembled power supply
systems (dress packs) and cable protection solutions, which Robotic Solutions develops, assembles, and
integrates into customer systems.
