IO-Link Sensors
for Flow Monitoring

Fluid+ flow and velocity solutions
from TURCK enable flexible, decentralized automation concepts

Sensors
Reliable monitoring of flow and velocity is a key requirement for efficient and safe industrial processes. With the FS501 flow sensor, TURCK is expanding its FS+ fluid sensor series to include a measuring variant for liquid media.
The robust device, rated IP67, records flow velocity and volume flow and also measures the media temperature. This eliminates the need for additional sensors and reduces the variety of variants required in the application. The immersion sensor is designed for pipe diameters ranging from 15 to 250 millimeters, covering a wide range of applications in factory automation – from cooling and lubrication circuits to cleaning and washing systems. Users can freely configure digital and analog outputs and benefit from easy integration into IO-Link environments thanks to Smart Sensor Profiles.

IO-Link functions for greater transparency

IO-Link provides users with extensive diagnostic and parameterization functions. Features such as Single Value Teach for setting a switching point, Dynamic Teach for automatic adaptation to changing conditions, and an integrated totalizer make the FS501 a key component for IIoT and condition monitoring concepts. Consumption data is recorded directly in the sensor via the totalizer and can be integrated into higher-level systems without additional effort.
