Efficiency booster for intralogistics

Digital Conveyor Lines: Turck digitizes conveyor lines
with IP67 control solutions

The demand for modular, scalable and highly available conveyor systems is growing in intralogistics. Turck is responding to this trend with a consistent IP67 concept for the digitalization of conveyor technology – from the controller to the power supply to the safety technology, all directly in the field and without a control cabinet.

Decentralized controller directly on the conveyor module

The core of Turck's solution is the TBEN-LL-4RMC, an IP67 block I/O module that controls up to four roller motors via CAN and simultaneously integrates sensors and actuators via DXP ports. Communication with the central controller takes place via multiprotocol Ethernet. Thanks to the integrated ARGEE logic, the module can also operate independently as a field logic controller (FLC) – ideal for zero pressure accumulation conveyor lines, for example.

Power supply and communication – robust and flexible

Turck's IP67 power supply units (PSU67) supply 24 or 48 volts directly in the field.
With M12 power connections and snap-on connectors, they enable the construction of self-sufficient conveyor modules without a control cabinet.
Ethernet switches (managed and unmanaged) and the TBEN-LL-4FDI-4FDX safe block I/O modules are also available in IP67 and can be installed decentrally.
