Video: CONEC at a glance!
Data communication and control systems do not stop at outdoor use. Whether it's heat or cold, humidity, salt
spray, chemical substances, vibrations or varying ambient pressure, machines and therefore also connectors are
in use in all these environments and ensure that power and signals find their way reliably.
CONEC meets these
high requirements for waterproof connectors through special sealing measures on the connector as well as on the
sealing frame, the use of high-quality materials and a particularly robust design.
Areas of application
IP67 D-SUB connectors are used in numerous fields of application, for example in traffic guidance systems,
photovoltaic systems, construction machinery, surveillance cameras or off-shore wind farms – wherever dust and
moisture occur and could impair the function of systems that are not specially protected.
In the field of waterproof IP67 D-SUB connectors, CONEC not only offers a wide range of position numbers, mounting
and connection options, but also the option of choosing between 3 different housing variants depending on the
application: Solid body, CONEC SlimCon, standard housing.
Robust and compact
The advantage of the solid body and CONEC SlimCon connector series is their one-piece zinc die-cast housing
with nickel-plated surface, which ensures optimum protection for the system and is characterised by robustness.
The CONEC SlimCon series also scores with its very small dimensions.
While the standard enclosure is sealed by the sealing frame, an O-ring is used in the solid body series. In the
smallest IP67 D-SUB connector series, CONEC uses a flat seal.
