The most important advantages of TSN switches compared to conventional switches

Deterministic communication: TSN switches provide deterministic communication where the transmission time of data packets is predictable. This can better support real-time applications that require precise coordination of activities.
Time synchronization: TSN switches support precise time synchronization of network components, which is important to achieve high accuracy in coordinating activities. This enables better realization of real-time applications such as Industry 4.0 or autonomous vehicles.
