IP67 D-SUB CONEC SlimCon connectors are available in housing sizes 1 to 3 as male and female versions and in the
Standard, High Density and Combination series. Due to their very small design and the one-piece zinc die-cast
housing, they are ideally designed for industrial and harsh environments where not much installation space is
available.
Compared to an IP67 protected connector with an extended sealing frame, a reduction of the occupied area of up to 52 percent is achieved. The size of the housing corresponds to the standard dimensions of a D-SUB connector, so a 1:1 conversion from IP20 to IP67 interfaces is also possible. Four contact surfaces ensure that the connectors are always mounted evenly with the existing seal on the unit wall.
Thus, excess pressure at the sealing is avoided and safe assembly at the customer’s is ensured. CONEC SlimCon connectors are designed for an enclosure wall thickness of 0.8 to 1.3 millimetres.
