The Kontron ToolSuite enables FAEs (Field Application Engineers) and production engineers to configure and customize BIOS settings securely, automatically, and consistently. It also helps IT/OT security officers implement cybersecurity measures in accordance with CRA, NIS-2, and IEC 62443.
The Kontron ToolSuite is a comprehensive solution to manage, deploy, and secure BIOS configurations across an entire x86-based device fleet from a single, unified interface. Kontron ToolSuite can be downloaded free of charge from the Kontron customer section.
The integrated package manager creates ZIP packages that can be executed via a single script and contain BIOS, logo, fan, and display settings.
Flexible and Easy BIOS Configuration
BIOS configuration management allows users to create, modify, and manage BIOS configurations. Parameters such as BIOS default values, logos, fans, LVDS and DMI data can be customized. Existing configuration files can be easily imported, or new versions can be generated for individual projects or customers. Features include, for example, creating, modifying, comparing, and merging BIOS configuration versions. It is also possible to import and export configuration files, select and modify the default BIOS configuration, and read the active BIOS configuration from a connected device.Automated Deployment for Large Device Fleets
