Data processing even faster and more secure
DDR5-DRAM modules
In modern industrial PC applications such as AI, image processing, 5G, IIoT or edge computing, a
large number of data must be processed quickly and reliably. In addition to the embedded board with
the corresponding performance, the main memory is also an important component.
For these applications, the new DDR5 DRAM modules from Cervoz, which have been designed specifically for
industrial use, are suitable as working memory.
There are 6 models with 8, 16 or 32 GB each in DIMM or SO-DIMM design. Currently the DDR5 memory modules work with a speed of 4800 MT/s. Compared to DDR4 memory modules, which reach a maximum speed of 3200 MT/s, this means an increase in bandwidth of 50 per cent.
In the future, performance increases to 6400 MT/s are even planned for DDR5 memory modules.
