Fit for difficult installation situations
CONEC has expanded its valve connector connector program with overmolded DT connectors in 90‑degree angled
design with single as well as double cable outlet. Four different directions of the 90‑degree cable outlet are
offered.
In agricultural, construction and municipal technology, machines are increasingly being equipped with sensors
and other electrical components. One example of this is efficient fertiliser and water management, which, thanks
to clever networking of a wide variety of sensors, enables the precise and predictive irrigation and nutrient
supply of fields.
This requires connectors that work reliably under harsh ambient temperatures and can be used in a wide variety of installation situations. CONEC offers overmoulded DT connectors with single and double outlet. Versions with a double cable outlet are mostly used as Y-distributors for the distribution of signals and energy. Variable cable lengths and different connectors at the cable ends can be realised. Daisy-chain applications with multiple cascaded connectors, e. g. to control valves via a CAN bus, can also be implemented here. The option of distributing signals and power in the connector to two additional ones, offers possibilities for making systems more compact and thus for saving installation space. In addition to the standard articles with open cable ends, a wide range of connecting cables is possible on request. The angled version of the overmoulded DT connectors is offered with a PUR cable and a stranded cross-section of 0.75 mm² in a length of 1 m and is currently available for the 2-, 4- and 6-pole versions DT06 (socket contact version).
The overmoulded DT connector series also fulfils protection class IP67 / IP69K in mated condition in the angled versions. Other lengths, cross-sections, cable qualities and individual connection options are available on request. ▪ ds
