WGS-5225 series: Extremely flat switches for building automation
You don't have enough space for a complete 19-inch rack for the installation of your LAN components,
not even enough room depth for cabinets with DIN rails? Do you have to mount your switches in a
small, flat built-in cabinet or even directly on the wall? In that case, the flatter the unit, the
better!
The low installation depth of the WGS-5225 Ethernet switches of only 25-36 mm is only one of the special
features of these switches for industrial and semi-industrial network technology. The configuration and
management/operating of the network via an interactive LCD touch display built into the switch also offers you
an innovative operating concept in building automation applications and similar installations.
Simple network functions such as activating/deactivating IP cameras or WLAN APs via sophisticated PoE
scheduling, or enabling/disabling individual ports for security purposes can thus also be carried out by
operating personnel without deep admin knowledge in CLI or SNMP. This is a great advantage for the management of
hotels, shopping centres, properties and similar building complexes.
