Powerful processor and versatile interfaces
The heart of the Nuvo-2822 is the Intel® Alder Lake N97 processor with 4 efficiency cores (E-Cores). The processor runs at a base clock speed of 2.0 GHz, which can be boosted to up to 3.6 GHz when needed. With a power consumption of just 12 W, it is particularly energy-efficient yet powerful enough to handle even demanding industrial applications. The integrated Intel® UHD Graphics with 24 execution units provides solid graphic performance, making it suitable for various visualization tasks. The Nuvo-2822 is equipped with two PCIe and two PCI slots, allowing for high flexibility when integrating expansion cards. These slots can be used for various purposes, such as frame grabbers, motion control cards, serial expansion cards, or data acquisition cards, making it ideal for machine control and automation applications.
Extensive connectivity and easy integration
The Nuvo-2822 features a wide range of interfaces for communication with external devices and networks. These include two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and two USB 2.0 ports, each with screw locks. These locks provide additional security, especially when used with industrial cameras for machine vision applications.
The device also has a DisplayPort++ and an HDMI 1.4b output, allowing for flexible connection to 4k-capable monitors and displays.
The PC also includes four serial ports (one of which is software-programmable) and an 8-channel isolated DIO (4-channel DI and 4-channel DO).
These interfaces enable an easy connection and control of sensors, actuators, and other industrial components.
