The CCG1R5 (1.5 W) and CCG3 (3 W) series is available with output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, ±12 or ±15 and the
dual output versions can also be connected to provide a single 24 or 30 V supply. All voltages and output power
combinations can operate from either a 4.5 to 18 V, 9 to 36 V or 18 to 76 Vdc input.
Single output models can be adjusted using the trim terminal over a -5 percent to +10 percent range for
non-standard voltages. All models are protected against an over-current condition and the output can be
inhibited using the remote on/off function. The input to output isolation voltage is 1,500 Vdc.
Converters with small footprint
The CCG1R5 and CCG3 converters share a common plastic case and measure 15.7 mm (length) x 10.4 mm (width) x 11.5
mm (height). A choice of through-hole or surface-mount terminations is available in both power levels. On the
highly automated production line utilising X-ray inspection, no encapsulation is used in order to avoid quality
risks associated with silicone potting compounds during the customer reflow soldering process.
The full temperature range is -40 to +100 °C, with derating above 85 °C. Safety certification includes
IEC/UL/CSA/EN 62368-1 with CE and UKCA marks to the Low Voltage and RoHS Directives.
