Customized e-paper displays for many areas of application
DMB Technics develops customized end-to-end solutions based on e-paper displays in which not only the display, but also the electronics, control system and housing integration are precisely tailored to the application.
Room thermostats and climate controls
Modern room thermostats and climate control systems offer a convenient
and clear display of target and actual temperatures, ventilation levels,
and various operating modes.
A typical example is a wall-mounted device with an integrated
temperature sensor and e-paper display that is battery-powered,
maintenance-free, and communicates wirelessly via EnOcean, Zigbee, or KNX.
The clear display remains easy to read even in direct sunlight or low light conditions. Thanks to its energy-saving design, the battery only needs to be replaced after several years.
Electronic door and room signage
Electronic door and room signage enables flexible display of room occupancy,
names, functions, or QR codes.
Meeting room signage with e-paper panels and touch controls are
particularly practical, allowing for on-site booking. The bi-stable technology ensures that the display remains intact even in the event of a power failure. This is an ideal solution for buildings with frequently changing uses or dynamic occupancy schedules.
Access displays and security status
Access displays and security status fields visualize access authorizations, alarm statuses, or operational approvals at a glance. For example, a "No Access" notice can be displayed on a machine room, highlighted in red on a colored e-paper module. Thanks to its bi-stability, the display remains clearly legible even in bright ambient light and remains visible even without a power supply.
Sensor displays and status fields
Sensor displays and status fields offer the possibility of clearly displaying important measured values such as CO₂ concentration, humidity, or power consumption.
It doesn't always have to be black and white. Colored e-paper displays are also possible
