The smallest
120 W DIN rail power supply on the market

When space and cost are at a premium, the RECOM RACPRO1-S120 DIN-Rail PSU is the solution. Offering 120 W output power from -40° C to +60 °C ambient in convection-only cooling, the part is just 1000 wmm high, 112 mm deep, and 28 mm wide, achieving 500 W/liter power density and an efficiency of up to 93.3 percent.
As a bonus, up to 144 W is available to 45 °C, with a further power boost to 150 percent for five seconds for surge loads. Adjustable output voltages are available at 12 V, 24 V, or 48 VDC, each with an extended return voltage capability of more than 35 V at 24 V and 63 V at 48 V, for immunity to back-feed from inductive and motor loads.
A DC-OK signal is also provided. Input is universal single-phase AC, or 88 to 370 VDC with active inrush limiting. The power consumption of the RACPRO1-S120 series is a maximum of 0.3 W when idle. Reliability is excellent and lifetime expectancy is 111,000 hours at 40 °C. Weight is just 330 g. “We are leading the market with our new DIN-Rail PSUs which are ideal for a wide range of demanding industrial applications such as automation, energy distribution, test and measurement, infrastructure, data/telecom and many more” comments Michael Peters, Business & Product Manager of RECOM.

Power

High-Density 240 W DIN-Rail power supply
with power boost and built-in redundancy feature

The new RECOM RACPRO1-S240 DIN-rail AC/DC power supply is affordably priced but packed with features, making it especially easy to integrate into industrial, building automation, energy, data communications, and infrastructure systems. Rated at 240 W, this unit is only 39 mm wide and can deliver a 150 percent power boost for five seconds, with 2880 W continuous power in environments held to 45° C. The output is adjustable, regulated 24 VDC, and fully protected against shorts, over-current, over-voltage, and return voltages up to 50 V, which may occur with inductive and motor loads. An integrated ORing diode allows multiple units to be paralleled for n+1 redundancy or power sharing applications.
Input voltage ranges from 85 to 77 VAC or 88 to 370 VDC without derating, and includes inrush limiting and power factor correction. High efficiency, reaching up to 95 percent, supports a wide operating temperature range of -40 °C to +60 °C without derating, while also ensuring long lifespan and high reliability. No-load consumption is typically 1 W.
A DC-OK LED is provided along with volt-free relay contacts to indicate correct operation. RECOM has packed a host of features into the new 240 W DIN rail AC/DC power supply to make it compatible with a wide range of applications, while keeping cost and size to a minimum. By the way: The RACPRO1-S240 is manufactured in Europe.
