Discover the CONEC connector world
In view of the increasing amounts of data in industrial plants, designers and planners are faced with the
question of how to transfer accumulating data quickly and reliably while saving installation space at the
same time.
Typical areas of application requiring constantly higher data transmission rates are, for example, vision
and scanner systems for production monitoring and real-time data evaluation. Entertainment systems in
trains, which provide passengers with a reliable internet connection at their seats, and surveillance
cameras also place high demands on data transmission and the robustness of the connectors.
The solution is the CAT-6A-capable M12x1 x-coded product series, which completely map the transmission path
of a device installed in the field and the associated processing unit using CONEC connectors.
New with M12 bayonet quick locking
For applications that require connectors that can be securely locked without visual contact or tools, CONEC
offers one connector field attachable and socket connectors with M12 bayonet quick locking. The two socket
connectors, axial or angled, are 100 percent backwards compatible with the standard screw locking system.
Socket connectors, overmoulded, angled two-piece and SMT/THR
In the product area of socket connectors, axial SMT and THR
variants are available in addition to angled socket connectors/insulation bodies with print connection
and an overmoulded version with cable.
With the SMT/THR variants, the user can mount the board equipped with the insulation body in different
socket geometries.
CONEC sockets are suitable for combined mounting and ideal for designs where the
M12x1 thread of the housing is directly moulded on, thus creating maximum design flexibility.
The dual and symmetrical arrangement of the contact springs refines the previous shield concepts through
an axial and radial connection to the socket side and is the result of the requirement of low-resistance
shield transmission.
