Thanks to advanced thermal management, the design teams achieved exceptional electrical efficiency without the need for side spacing for cooling, allowing for optimal packing density in system installations. With an efficiency of up to 96.9 percent, these units can operate at full power at temperatures as high as +60 °C using only convection cooling and as low as -40 °C, outperforming many competitors.

A standout feature is the ability of all models to provide up to 20 percent more power at +45 °C ambient temperatures and 50 percent more power for short bursts of five seconds, ideal for powering capacitive or high inrush loads without over-specifying the power supply. The input options include 320 to 575 VAC three-phase or 430 to 850 VDC, while the 240 W model also supports two-phase operation at 350 to 575 VAC. The RACPRO1-T240 has a regulated 24 VDC output, adjustable between 24 and 28 VDC, and the RACPRO1-T480 and RACPRO1-T960 offer selectable adjustable 24 V or 48 V (48-56 VDC) outputs.

Increased surge immunity

Built for long operational life and manufactured in Europe, these power supplies offer enhanced reliability with high surge immunity and protection against return voltage, making them ideal for industrial environments with motor or inductive loads. Their no-load power consumption is lower than comparable products, and a DC-OK signal is included. The 480 W and 960 W models also feature a constant voltage/constant current (CV/CC) output characteristic, supporting battery charging and output paralleling.
The series conforms to the EN 60715 DIN rail mechanical standard, with 25-degree tool-free push-in connectors and snap-fit installation on standard DIN rails, eliminating the need for tools.
The power supplies are certified for safety under IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1, and IEC/EN/UL 61010-2-201, and they meet EMC standards EN 61000-6-4 Class B and EN 61000-6-2 for emissions and immunity.

These new AC/DC power supplies are suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial automation, renewable energy, power distribution, test and measurement, infrastructure, and more. Additionally, RECOM will soon introduce a line of high-specification DIN rail E-Fuses to complement the RACPRO1 series.
