Highlights at the trade fair stand

Visitors to SPS can discover a range of innovative solutions at the Dynetics stand, such as ball screws in accordance with ISO standard 3408-2, Series 1 (DIN 69051-5). Their reinforced recirculation section increases the reliability and durability of the screw drive. Also on display is the Flexible Link from the FX series by KSS. It seamlessly integrates a ball screw with a fixed support unit, reducing the connection length by more than half compared to a conventional coupling design. Also on display is a pipette robot based on a linear shaft motor unit from NPM and optimized for space-saving, high-precision Z-positioning applications. It uses gLESS as a contactless, maintenance-free counterweight that utilizes the attractive force of a magnet instead of the restoring force of a wear-prone spring.
Another new product is a complete linear motor unit consisting of the SX060 linear motor from manufacturer NPM and a gLESS counterweight. This enables space-saving applications with more than one motor, as a distance of only 9 mm between the units is possible. An active alignment system for high-end co-packaged optics (CPO) will also be presented. It is based on the 36-axis EtherCAT automation controller ETX-R41K111C from TPM.
Another highlight is the high-precision PLC table demo with a nano-positioning linear table from manufacturer NPM. The whole thing is rounded off by a pan & tilt demo with MDD motors. These consist of an MD-3012-108KE with an incremental encoder with a resolution of 432,000 ppr for the horizontal axis and an MDH-7018-648KE with an incremental encoder with a resolution of 2,592,000 ppr for the theta axis.
