Kontron KBox Series A-151-TGL/EKL: Scalable IPC for low-power or data-intensive IoT edge applications
The KBox A-151 series is part of Kontron's KBox family and has been specially designed for IoT gateway applications in industrial environments. The IPCs in box PC format are quick and easy to use and are therefore suitable for OEM manufacturers and system integrators who want to exploit the full potential of the next generation of intelligent infrastructures in the IoT environment.

Core™ processors offer the right performance and efficiency
for demanding IoT edge or AI applications.
As a special feature, the Box PCs have an expansion slot on the front (I/O door),
which can be used to add additional functionalities such as fieldbuses, interfaces
such as graphics, serial or digital I/Os and Ethernet interfaces. The systems can
also be optionally supplemented with 4G/5G or WiFi 6 connectivity.
The fanless, robust system design guarantees an extended service life and high
system availability, even in harsh industrial environments. Both the KBox A-151-EKL
and the KBox A-151-TGL can be operated in the range from 0 °C to +60 °C or optionally
in the extended temperature range between -40 °C and +60 °C.
The Box PCs can be easily integrated into a wide range of industrial environments using DIN
rail mounting (top-hat rail) or wall mounting. The maintenance-free design helps to reduce
the total cost of ownership (TCO) and increase system availability.
