Compact – Robust – Powerful

Spectra PowerBox 130: Box PC with Alder Lake-N processor for demanding applications

The Spectra PowerBox 100 series of Box PCs have been used successfully for many years for a wide range of automation tasks directly on the machine (“on the edge”). The Spectra PowerBox 130 is now the latest generation of this Box PC series, which consistently builds on the advantages of its predecessors.
The requirements for robustness, compactness and computing power are high for these industrial Box PCs. With its compact dimensions of just 150 x 52 x 105 mm, the Spectra PowerBox 130 is even smaller than a Tetra-Pack, for example, making it ideal for applications with limited installation space.
The fanless and wireless design ensures reliable operation under the mechanical loads typical in industrial environments. By dispensing with components with rotating parts, as in conventional hard disks, in favor of SSDs, reliability is further increased.

Expandable connectivity and interface diversity

With two 2.5 Gigabit LAN ports and two 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 ports, the Spectra PowerBox 130 has four super-fast communication interfaces. Two M.2 slots (B-Key) allow the installation of a fast NVMe SSD and a WLAN module. The system can optionally be expanded with additional interfaces such as 2 x COM, LPT + PS/2 or 8 x DI/O. Alternatively, in addition to the standard DisplayPort interface, a second graphics connection can be implemented as DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D or legacy VGA. This allows the Box PCs to be flexibly adapted to specific requirements.

Flexibility in temperature and power supply

The standard version of the Spectra PowerBox 130 is designed for an operating temperature range of 0 °C to 45 °C. For more demanding environments, a variant is available that can withstand temperatures from -25 °C to 60 °C. The wide-range input for the power supply from 9 to 48 V DC enables use in various industrial scenarios and ensures stable operation even with voltage fluctuations. ds
