Setting New Benchmarks in Connectivity

The M12 Bayonet System
from CONEC

In an era where efficiency, speed, and cost savings are key success factors in connection technology, CONEC sets a new benchmark with its M12 Bayonet System. The innovative quick-locking mechanism can be used in industrial applications, agricultural engineering, and railway technology, for example.

CONEC M12 connector system with three-point bayonet locking mechanism
Although existing quick-locking systems for M12 connections are available on the market, they often do not meet the high requirements for simple maintenance, reliable function and cost-efficient implementation. This is exactly where the new M12 bayonet system comes in: an innovative solution that not only significantly speeds up the connection process but also makes it more robust and economical.
With the M12 bayonet, we offer an advanced alternative that enables users to make noticeable improvements in their daily work – quickly, effectively and cost-effectively.
A key benefit of the system is its intuitive “three-point” bayonet locking mechanism. With a simple 90-degree twist by hand, the connector locks securely and tool-free—even in confined or poorly visible spaces. Distinct tactile and audible feedback ensures the user can confidently verify a proper connection. The system follows the draft standard IEC CD 61076-2-011/Ed1 and is offered in multiple configurations, including overmoulded, field-attachable, and socket connector versions.
A special highlight: The socket connectors also feature a standardized M12 thread in the mating area, ensuring full backward compatibility with existing M12 screw connectors. This allows new systems to be easily equipped with the bayonet system on the device side.
