In addition IO-Link lets you control the selectable outputs (analog, digital and IO-Link) and read out the analog values and switching points. Switching points, hysteresis, window functions and reset points are also fast and easy to set. Comprehensive diagnostic functions such as an operating hours counter and pressure peak counter as well as indication of the internal temperature trend let you know the condition of the unit and ensure transparency in practical operation. These functions can be called up via IO-Link and in part on the display to ensure high machine availability. When needed the user can also detect pressure spikes over IO-Link and if necessary take measures to eliminate them. ▪ ds
