The Spectra PowerBox 5000 high-end GPU computing system opens the doors to a whole new dimension in image
processing. It consists of a basic system that can be expanded with up to two modular GPU expansion boxes. With
the help of this modular design, the system can be scaled to suit individual requirements.
The mechanical structure and the isolated external Smart Fan Kits on both sides of the enclosure effectively
dissipate heat when fully loaded under extreme conditions
Compact industrial design
The excellent computing power of the basic system is based on Intel
® Xeon
® or Core™ i3/i5/i7 (Coffee Lake-R)
CPUs of the 9th generation and an Intel
® C246 chipset as well as two DDR4-2666
ECC/non-ECC SO-DIMM up to 64 GB.
The compact PC also has four 2.5 inch hot-swap SATA SSDs and has an M.2 M-key socket for NVMe SSD
storage. Additional I/Os or further functionalities such as 8 x GbE LAN/PoE, 6 x USB 3.2 and 2 x 10 GbE LAN can
be realised by means of expansion cards.
Externally expandable
The GPU expansion boxes, which are simply plugged onto the base system, offer space for two 250 W graphics cards
with a length of 328 mm or other PCIe expansion cards when expanded to the maximum. The total power consumption
is 720 W max. Of course, these high-performance requirements also demand a corresponding cooling concept.
Effective heat dissipation is achieved by the special enclosure structure and the use of insulated external
smart fan kits on both sides of the enclosure.
Wide-range voltage input
The industrial usability of the high-end GPU computer is additionally supported by the mechanical construction
of the compact PC, which ensures high shock and vibration resistance, and by the wide current input range of 9
to 48 V.
