With the F16T-PX-Plus, tci offers a 16-inch touch panel specifically designed for outdoor
applications. The sealed casing provides comprehensive IP65 protection, ensuring dustproof
and resistant to water jets. It's prepared for arm mount installation. Its external interfaces
are fulfilling the IP69K protection level. The rugged aluminium casing ensures excellent protection
against physical damage. The bright display on the anodised aluminium front guarantees optimal
visibility under bright light and an intuitive touch interface. The system operates on either
Linux or Android.
An integrated safety system guarantees reliable operation over an extended temperature range
of -40 to +70 °C. The dew point monitor is combined with a heating feature, allowing the system to
start and run safely even at 100 percent condensing humidity. In particularly hot conditions – including
under direct sunlight – the overheat monitoring and a foldable sunshade with anti-glare provide optimal
operational safety. The touch panel has passed all tests according to DIN 75220.
To ensure long-term project continuity for users, tci offers an extended parts supply
and a comprehensive repair service. The touch panel is suitable for various applications
in industrial or semi-public settings – for instance, as a lorry terminal in logistics,
