CONEC IO boxes adapt seamlessly to a wide range of applications. Depending on your needs, choose between active
boxes with integrated electronics for direct communication via fieldbus or Industrial Ethernet, or passive boxes
for fast and simple signal distribution.
CONEC Active Junction Boxes –
Field Order, Process Efficiency
The active boxes connect sensors and actuators directly to modern control systems – fast, flexible, and
decentralized.
They support standard protocols like PROFINET, EtherCAT, and IO-Link, and integrate easily into
existing automation setups.
The devices are available as master or slave variants. While master boxes allow
direct access to IO-Link devices, slave boxes capture signals and reliably forward them to the controller.
PROFINET – Easy Integration,
Efficient Automation
CONEC boxes with PROFINET protocol allow simple integration of standard sensors via binary signals. For more
complex applications, powerful master boxes with IO-Link interfaces offer enhanced diagnostics, transparency,
and efficiency – right in the field.
The EtherCAT boxes enable real-time communication with minimal cycle times – ideal for demanding automation
tasks. Decentralized IO management ensures reliable data transmission and optimal process synchronization.
CONEC IO-Link slave boxes connect easily to IO-Link masters, enabling simple and reliable sensor/actuator
integration – without complex wiring.
Bidirectional communication delivers switching signals plus valuable
diagnostics, status, and configuration data – boosting transparency, simplifying maintenance, and increasing
system uptime.
CONEC – Passive Junction boxes
Ideal for signal and power distribution in industrial environments, our passive boxes offer service-friendly,
space-saving, and clearly structured wiring. With robust design, high IP67 protection, and clear labeling, they
ensure safe signal routing and long-term reliability – even in harsh conditions.
CONEC – Enclosure technology
CONEC also design and manufacture custom-specific distribution box housings with integrated M8/M12/7/8-inch or
hybrid interfaces.
Other industrial interfaces are available on request. The electronics, in the form of a
circuit board, are installed by the customer. The housings are customized to meet individual specifications –
including color, design, and branding.
