To continually deliver comprehensive information to interested parties and customers, Panasonic Industry Europe launched a series of web seminars in April 2020, which regularly focuses on new products, technologies, and solutions. These solution-specific and subject-centric webinars are offered in German and English to demonstrate best-practice examples, address new hardware or software integration, and highlight services and training offerings for system integrators, machine builders, and buyers.

Safety door switch

To increase safety in production facilities populated by workers and machines, Panasonic has developed the SG-P safety door switch.
The clearly visible LED status displays of the SP-G sensor series reliably indicate the open or closed status of machine room doors. The SG-P series eliminates the need to install sensors on the outside and helps to simplify installation. In addition, external safety controllers are not required for the system to function.
With the SP-G series, up to 30 units can be connected in series. No additional wiring is needed for cascade connection of slave units.
The Panasonic SP-G safety door switch also complies with all current standards, such as EN 60947-5-3, EN 300 330, and EN 301 489‑1.
