Packaging machines are an interesting and challenging area within mechanical
engineering. Regardless of the material used, the packaging must protect the product,
which requires a perfect process in the machine that must be just as efficient.

The combination of servo drives from the MINAS A6 family and the GM1 motion controller is recommended
for coordinating complex motion sequences, such as those often found in packaging machines. The powerful
drives impress with their high dynamics and up to 32 axes (physical and virtual) can be controlled with
the GM1.
Safety is a key issue, especially for complex motion sequences: with its extensive
safety functions, the MINAS A6 Multi servo drive meets safety level SIL3. This means that
packaging machines are also ideally equipped for future safety requirements.
